    Electrochemical characterization of nanoporous nickel oxide thin films spray-deposited onto indium-doped tin oxide for solar conversion scopes

    Nonstoichiometric nickel oxide (NiOx) has been deposited as thin film utilizing indium-doped tin oxide as transparent and electrically conductive substrate. Spray deposition of a suspension of nanoparticles in alcoholic medium allowed the preparation of uniform coatings. Sintering of the coatings was conducted at temperatures below 500°C for few minutes. This scalable procedure allowed the attainment of films with mesoporous morphology and reticulated structure. The electrochemical characterization showed that electrodes possess large surface area (about 1000 times larger than their geometrical area). Due to the openness of the morphology, the underlying conductive substrate can be contacted by the electrolyte and undergo redox processes within the potential range in which is electroactive. This requires careful control of the conditions of polarization in order to prevent the simultaneous occurrence of reduction/oxidation processes in both components of the multilayered electrode. The combination of the open structure with optical transparency and elevated electroactivity in organic electrolytes motivated us to analyze the potential of the spray-deposited films as semiconducting cathodes of dye-sensitized solar cells of p-type when erythrosine B was the sensitizer

    Nickel oxide photocathodes prepared using rapid discharge sintering for p-type dye-sensitized solar cells

    This paper compares the photoelectrochemical performances of nickel oxide (NiO) thin films processed using two different sintering procedures: rapid discharge sintering (RDS) and conventional furnace sintering (CS). Prior to sintering, NiO nanoparticles were sprayed onto substrates to form loosely adherent nanoparticulate coatings. After RDS and furnace sintering the resultant NiO coatings were sensitized with erythrosine B dye and corresponding p-type dyesensitized solar cells were fabricated and characterized. NiO electrodes fabricated using the RDS technique exhibited a fourfold enhancement in electroactivity compared to CS electrodes. A possible explanation is the smaller sintered grain size and more open mesoporous structure achieved using the microwave plasma treatments

    Efektivitas modifikasi kognitif perilaku untuk menurunkan kecemasan sosial pada remaja dengan Borderline Intellectual Functioning (BIF)

    AbstractChildren with Borderline Intellectual Functioning (BIF) are prone to experiencing social anxiety caused by cognitive distortions. Psychological interventions that emphasize the conversion of cognitive is a cognitive-behavioral modification (CBM). Research on the application of CBM for children BIF has not been carried out. The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of CBM to reduce social anxiety on children with BIF. Social anxiety was measured by the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescent (SAS-A). Data in this study also were obtained through observation and interviews with subjects and parents. This research using single subject A-B-A’ design and involve one subject, 13 years old female adolescent. This intervention conducted in 6 sessions with 90-120 minutes/session. Data on this study is analyzed by comparing SAS-A scores before and after the intervention. The result shows a change in social anxiety level on the subject. Therefore, Cognitive Behavior Modification is effective to reduce the level of social anxiety on an adolescent with BIF.Keywords: Borderline Intellectual Functioning; Cognitive Behavior Modification; Social anxiety AbstrakAnak dengan borderline intellectual functioning (BIF) rentan mengalami masalah kecemasan sosial yang disebabkan oleh distorsi kognitif. Intervensi psikologis yang bisa dilakukan adalah modifikasi kognitif-perilaku. Penelitian mengenai penerapan modifikasi kognitif-perilaku untuk anak dengan BIF belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keefektifan Modifikasi Kognitif-Perilaku untuk menurunkan kecemasan sosial pada anak dengan BIF. Kecemasan sosial diukur menggunakan kuesioner Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescent (SAS-A). Data dalam penelitian ini juga diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan subjek dan orang tua. Design penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah single subject A-B-A’ design, penelitian ini melibatkan satu subjek yaitu seorang remaja perempuan berusia 13 tahun. Terapi ini dilakukan dalam 6 sesi, dengan durasi 90-120 menit/sesi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan skor SAS-A sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perubahan tingkat kecemasan sosial pada subjek. Dengan demikian, Modifikasi Kognitif-Perilaku terbukti efektif untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan sosial pada remaja dengan BIF.Kata Kunci: Borderline Intellectual Functioning; Kecemasan Sosial; Modifikasi Kognitif Perilak

    Pemodelan Prediksi Kerawanan Penyakit Malaria Menggunakan Metode Ordinary Least Square (Ols) di Sebagian Kabupaten Kulon Progo

    Kabupaten Kulon Progo merupakan salah satu wilayah endemis malaria tidak hanya di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta namun juga di wilayah Pulau Jawa. Kecamatan yang termasuk daerah endemik penyakit malaria di Kabupaten Kulonprogo yaitu Kecamatan Girimulyo dan Kokap. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kemampuan citra Quickbird dalam identifikasi parameter, identifikasi tingkat kerawanan malaria, dan melakukan pemodelan prediksi kerawanan malaria. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian yaitu metode kuantitatif. Analisis yang digunakan dalam melakukan tujuan pertama yaitu menggunakan matriks uji ketelitian, untuk tujuan kedua menggunakan teknik overlay dan dilakukan klasifikasi, sedangkan untuk tujuan ketiga menggunakan metode OLS. Hasil yang diperoleh untuk interpretasi penggunaan lahan memiliki nilai ketelitian sebesar 93.63% dan 95% untuk kerapatan vegetasi. Tingkat kerawanan malaria paling tinggi berada di sebagian Kecamatan Kokap dan Kecamatan Pengasih, sedangkan berdasarkan hasil prediksi Kelurahan Purwosari, kelurahan Jatimulyo, dan Kelurahan Hargotirto memiliki prediksi tingkat kerawanan yang tinggi

    An n-sided polygonal model to calculate the impact of cyber security events

    This paper presents a model to represent graphically the impact of cyber events (e.g., attacks, countermeasures) in a polygonal systems of n-sides. The approach considers information about all entities composing an information system (e.g., users, IP addresses, communication protocols, physical and logical resources, etc.). Every axis is composed of entities that contribute to the execution of the security event. Each entity has an associated weighting factor that measures its contribution using a multi-criteria methodology named CARVER. The graphical representation of cyber events is depicted as straight lines (one dimension) or polygons (two or more dimensions). Geometrical operations are used to compute the size (i.e, length, perimeter, surface area) and thus the impact of each event. As a result, it is possible to identify and compare the magnitude of cyber events.     A Semi-supervised Method to Identify Urban Anomalies through LTE PDCCH Fingerprinting

    In this paper we advocate the use of mobile networks as sensing platforms to monitor metropolitan areas. In particular, we are interested in detecting urban anomalies (e.g., crowd gathering) by processing the control information exchanged among the base stations and the mobile users. For this, we design an anomaly detection framework based on semi-supervised learning, which enables the automatic identification of different types of anomalous events without any a-priori information. The proposed approach uses unsupervised learning techniques to gain confidence in real mobile traffic demand patterns from the city of Madrid in Spain and build an ad-hoc ground truth. A recurrent neural network is then trained to detect contextual anomalies and identify different types of urban events. Simulation results confirm the better performance of the semi-supervised method compared to pure unsupervised anomaly detection frameworks

    Induksi Kalus Daun Nyamplung (Calophyllum Inophyllum Linn.) pada Beberapa Kombinasi Konsentrasi 6-Benzylaminopurine (BAP) dan 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (2,4-D)

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kombinasi konsentrasi Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (ZPT) 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (2,4-D) dan 6-Benzylaminopurine (BAP) yang paling optimal menginduksi kalus dari eksplan daun Calophyllum inophyllum Linn. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi 2,4-D yang terdiri dari 0 ppm; 0,5 ppm; 1 ppm; 1,5 ppm dan 2 ppm dan faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi BAP yaitu 0 ppm; 1 ppm; 2 ppm; dan 3 ppm. Parameter pengamatan yang diamati, antara lain berat segar kalus (mg), hari saat muncul kalus (HSI), dan warna serta tekstur kalus. Berat segar kalus dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA two-way. Sedangkan hari saat muncul kalus dan warna tekstur kalus dianalisis secara deskriptif. Pengamatan dilakukan pada 45 hari setelah inokulasi (HSI). Hasil uji ANOVA two-way menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi 2,4-D, BAP serta interaksi antara kedua faktor tersebut berpengaruh terhadap berat segar kalus daun C. inophyllum Linn. (P ≤ 0,05). Perlakuan kombinasi konsentrasi 2,4-D 0,5 ppm + BAP 2 ppm merupakan kombinasi konsentrasi ZPT yang paling optimal untuk kandungan berat segar kalus yaitu 197,8 mg dan untuk hari muncul kalus lebih cepat yaitu pada 13 HIS. Sedangkan pengamatan terhadap warna dan tektur kalus menunjukkan paling banyak kalus berwarna coklat tua dan bertekstur kompak pada perlakuan yang membentuk kalu
